Camping Ötztal Längenfeld - THE well-connected campsite in the Ötztal!
If you come here, you can simply leave your car or caravan on the pitch.
Many winter walking routes and cross-country skiing trails pass right by our campsite. The skiing metropolises of Sölden and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl, with their sweeping skiing and glacier skiing areas, are just 12 and 25 km away and easy to reach using the free Skibus. The bus stop is only 150 m away from the campsite. The Skibus stops here every 5 - 10 minutes and will take you to Sölden or Obergurgl-Hochgurgl in comfort.
Other skiing areas in the Ötztal such as Oetz-Hochoetz, Niederthai, Gries and Vent are also very easily reached using the free public bus service.
Want to just relax and switch off after an exciting day of winter activities? Here, that’s easy: a 2-minute walk will take you to the AQUA DOME - Tirol Therme Längenfeld, the best thermal spa in the Alps.
Similarly, the village, which offers many shopping possibilities, restaurants, bars and so on and has a very special, romantic charm in the winter, is only 5 minutes’ walk away.
Fantastic natural toboggan runs in Längenfeld and the surrounding area, the ice rink right by the campsite, and romantic snow-shoe walks complete the round of winter activities.

Forget about hauling heavy gas bottles and the chore of swapping gas bottles in the middle of the night: on our Comfort and Comfort Plus pitches, you have the possibility of connecting to our gas supply. We will make the connection for you, and will provide a gas hose free of charge. This way, you will have a warm caravan for your entire stay - without having to worry about the gas supply.

Of course, you can also swap or buy 5 kg, 11 kg or 33 kg gas bottles from us. We will be happy to deliver the bottles to your pitch.

A VARIETY OF SPORTS FOR AN EVEN BETTER WINTER EXPERIENCE
Starting this coming 2018/19 season, skiing guests will be able to choose from the entire menu of ski slopes offered by the Ötztal. The Superskipass bundles everything together: the best-known winter sport destinations in the Alps and the small but beautiful ski areas in the valley. In Sölden, “the hotspot of the Alps”, the Giggijoch and the Gaislachkogl gondolas will quickly take you from the village to almost endless slopes. Powder skiing and freeriding, on the other hand, are best done in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. The altitude, safety of the snow and the state-of-the-art facilities all contribute to the “top quality skiing” which is possible on the extensive ski slopes of the upper Ötztal. As if that were not enough, the Superskipass also includes the family-friendly skiing region of Hochoetz-Kühtai at the start of the Ötztal, as well as the smaller ski areas in Niederthai, Gries and Vent.  With flexibility and independence, the ticket makes one thing possible for you above all - the ability to experience winter in Ötztal in all of its diversity. 

ENTERTAINMENT INCLUDED
It is not just the sport enthusiasts who get so much out of this offer; the entertainment programme is also worth seeing: The latest highlight is the James Bond theme park “007 ELEMENTS” right on top of the Gaislachkogl in Sölden. The BIG3 rally and the highest motorcycle museum in Europe at Top Mountain Crosspoint in Hochgurgl, and numerous musical and sporting events such as the World Cup opening ensure that there is plenty of variety.  

TOTAL SNOW GUARANTEE
The ski slopes of the Ötztal offer snow in abundance, reaching up to 3,000 metres above sea level. From autumn until well into spring, the Superskipass ensures powder slopes and the best prepared ski runs.

A dream for all Cross-Country Skiers

When it comes to winter sports, the Längenfeld area is particularly attractive for Nordic skiers. At 1200 metres above sea level, a true paradise awaits you, with 60 kilometres of well-kept cross-country skiing trails (awarded the Tirolean cross-country skiing seal of approval). Like a string of pearls, the many hamlets and settlements of the village stretch along a plain 20 km in length. This is where skate-style and classic-style cross-country skiers leave their tracks, flanked by the massive mountain chains of Ötztal and the Stubai Alps. The 3 km long illuminated night-track (every day from 5 pm - 9 pm) provides a particularly special experience. Access to the cross-country skiing tracks is right next to the campsite.
The idyllic villages of Gries and Niederthai are known for the snow which is guaranteed on their excellent Nordic skiing trails and can be reached free of charge using the Langlauf shuttle bus. All Nordic skiing trails can be used free of charge!

From the ski slope straight into the thermal spa
